Ingredients
  

Macaroni with Beef and Mushroom

  • 1/2 kilo elbow macaroni
  • 130 Grams bacon chopped
  • 1 large white onion chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1 Small carrot choppet
  • 2 tablespoons parsley sprigs chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil leaves chopped (or 2 teaspoons dried basil)
  • 1/2 Cup canned button mushrooms chopped
  • 1/2 kilo Beef use lean ground beef
  • 1 (560-gram) pouch Italian-style spaghetti sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups quick-melting cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon iodized salt (or 1 tablespoon iodized rock salt)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Sauté bacon for 2 minutes. Add onion, garlic, carrot, parsley, basil, and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes
  • Add beef and sauté for 1 minute. Add spaghetti sauce, then season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Mix or pour over cooked elbow macaroni. Top with cheese.
