Don't be fooled by the light, soft, silken tofu bits because this is a satisfyingly hot, spicy dish.
2 packs silken tofu
1/4 kilo pork, use ground pork
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
1 table spoon oil
1 packet mapo tofu mix
2 pieces red chili pepper (siling labuyo), finely chopped
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
Gently slice the bean curd or silken tofu into small cubes. Set aside.
Season ground pork with salt and pepper. Sprinkle flour onto the pork and mix well.
In a pan, heat oil and sauté ground pork, about 15 minutes or until just cooked through.
Add mapo tofu mix and stir well, making sure the ground pork is well coated with the sauce.
Add the sliced tofu and it let simmer for a couple of minutes. Stir, being careful not to break the tofu. Add chili and green onions. Heat through, and serve hot.
