Take a trip to Italy with this sammie!
2 tablespoons pesto sauce
2 whole wheat bread
2 to 3 slices tomatoes
3 to 4 pieces fresh basil leaves
2 1/2 tablespoons mozarella cheese, shredded
2 teaspoons butter
Spread pesto on a whole wheat bread slice, then top with tomato slices, fresh basil leaves, and shredded mozzarella.
Cover with another bread slice. Spread 1 teaspoon butter on top. Heat a pan over medium heat and grill sandwich, buttered side down, for 2 to 3 minutes.
Spread 1 teaspoon butter on the outside of the other slice, flip sandwich, and grill for another 2 to 3 minutes until cheese is completely melted.
