These mini matcha cakes couldn't be easier to make!
1 (200-gram) package butter cake mix
1 1/2 tablespoons matcha (green tea) powder
1/2 cup butter
4 tablespoons cream
1 tablespoon matcha (green tea) powder
2 1/4 cups confectioner's sugar, sifted

Prepare butter cake mix according to package directions.
Add matcha powder to the batter and mix well.
Fill each muffin cup with batter until two-thirds full. Bake according to package directions.
Make the frosting: Using an electric mixer, beat butter with cream. Add matcha powder and sifted confectioners' sugar; beat until smooth. Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes. Dust with matcha powder, if desired.
