Matcha Cupcakes with Frosting
- 1 (200-gram) package butter cake mix
- 1 1/2 tablespoons matcha (green tea) powder
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 4 tablespoons cream
- 1 tablespoon matcha (green tea) powder
- 2 1/4 cups confectioners sugar sifted

Instructions
- Prepare butter cake mix according to package directions.
- Add matcha powder to the batter and mix well.
- Fill each muffin cup with batter until two-thirds full. Bake according to package directions.
- Make the frosting: Using an electric mixer, beat butter with cream. Add matcha powder and sifted confectioners’ sugar; beat until smooth. Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes. Dust with matcha powder, if desired.
