Making ice candy at home is a great activity you can enjoy with kids. It’s easy, fun, and you don’t need too many ice candy ingredients to make it taste delicious. Once you’ve learned how to make ice candy, you’ll always be able to stock up on these treats, ready to cool you off any time. In this recipe, we’re using Milo to give our ice candy a malty chocolate flavor. Once you’ve mastered how to make Milo ice candy, you can always swap it out with your favorite chocolate, or any other flavor you like!
Milo Ice Candy Recipe
Milo Ice Candy Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup powdered chocolate drink (we used Milo)
- 1/4 Cup brown sugar
- 1 Cup hot water
- 2 cups cold water
- In a large bowl, mix Milo powder, sugar, and hot water until all granules have dissolved. Pour and stir in in cold water.
- Using a funnel and 1/3 cup measuring cup, pour 1/3 cup of the Milo mixture into an ice candy bag. Remove the funnel and twist the top until sealed. Repeat with remaining mixture.
- Store in the freezer overnight or at least 6 hours or until completely solid. Serve frozen.
