Ingredients
Mushroom Rice Pilaf
- 4 Table Spoon Butter
- 1 Table Spoon Garlic finely minced
- 1 Cup fresh button mushrooms roughly chopped
- 2 cups long-grain rice
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 Table Spoon fresh parsley finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
-  Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Add garlic and sauté for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook for about 5 minutes.Â
- Â Add rice and stir to coat. Add chicken stock and salt while stirring continuously for another 2 minutes.Â
- Bring to a simmer, partially covered, until the liquid is fully absorbed and the rice is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley, if desired, just before serving. Serve warm. Â Â
