No-Bake Matcha Cheesecake Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (we used Oreos, filling removed)
  • 1/3 Cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 box (225-gram) cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 Cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened matcha powder plus more if desired
  • 1/4 Cup condensed milk
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons powdered gelatin
  • 2/3 Cup heavy cream Chilled
  • heart of palm (lumpiang ubod)

Instructions
 

  • Combine cookie crumbs and butter in a bowl; mix well. Press onto the bottom of an 8-inch round springform pan. Refrigerate for at least 45 minutes.
  • Beat cream cheese in another bowl until smooth. Add sugar, matcha powder, and condensed milk; beat until combined.
  • Mix gelatin and 2 tablespoons cold water in a small bowl; bloom for 3 minutes. Melt mixture over a double boiler. Let cool slightly. Add gelatin to cream-cheese mixture; mix well.
  • Beat cream in a bowl until soft peaks form.
  • Fold whipped cream into cream- cheese mixture. Pour filling onto prepared crust and smoothen top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm, about 21/2 to 3 hours. Garnish with white chocolate.
