Ingredients
  

Easy Pan-Fried Pork Belly Ingredients

  • juice from half a lemon
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 500 Grams pork belly slices (liempo) boneless
  • Salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon cane vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 Small cabbage shredded finely
  • 1 medium carrot shredded finely
  • 1 medium white onion sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons Bottled Jalapeño sliced
  • 1 handful cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Combine lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Add pork belly and marinate for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Make the slaw: Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add cabbage, carrots, onions, jalapeños, and cilantro; mix until well combined. Set aside.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook pork belly slices until browned, about 8 minutes per side. 
  • Slice pork thinly into smaller pieces and place on a serving dish. Serve with slaw on the side. Garnish with more cilantro leaves.
