Pan-Fried Pork Steak Recipe

Lightly brush pork with 1/2 tablespoon Knorr SavorRich pork on both sides. Cover with rosemary and garlic. Let stand for at least 15 minutes.

Make the potato gratin: Preheat oven to 375°F. Rub the inside of a 9x12-inch oval baking dish with cut sides of garlic; set dish aside. Peel potatoes then submerge them in a bowl of water to prevent discoloration; set aside. Heat cream, milk, nutmeg (if using), and 1½ teaspoons salt in a medium saucepan over medium heat until bubbles form around edge. Season with pepper. Remove from heat. Slice potatoes crosswise into ¹?⁸-inch-thick pieces then transfer to a heatproof bowl. Pour warm cream mixture over potatoes. Gently push potatoes down then pour in the rest of the cream mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake until top is bubbling and brown, about 1 hour 15 minutes.

Melt butter and heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add pork and cook for 5 to 10 minutes per side.

Garnish pork with rosemary and serve immediately with potato gratin.
