Ingredients
Pan-seared Pork Chops Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons orange marmalade
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- black pepper to taste
- 4 pork (use bone-in pork chops), around 500 to 600 grams total
- canola oil to fry
- green onion chopped for garnish
- 2 tablespoons orange marmalade
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
Instructions
- Combine orange marmalade, soy sauce, and pepper. Add pork and marinate until ready to cook.
- Make the glaze: Whisk together marmalade and soy sauce. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry pork until cooked through, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Add glaze. Cook and turn chops until coated in glaze, 1 to 2 minutes. (Alternatively, if you have more time on your hands, you may sear the pork chops in a cast-iron pan over high heat then cover the pan with foil and roast in a 400°F preheated oven for 4 to 5 minutes, brushing with glaze halfway through.)
- Transfer pork to a plate. Drizzle with glaze. Garnish with green onions, if desired. Serve immediately.
