Ingredients
Pancit Bihon Guisado Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 5 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 Cup Baguio beans sliced
- 1 Cup sugar snap peas or sitsaro
- 1 Cup carrots julienned
- 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1 Cup adobo sauce
- 1 Cup water
- 1/4 kilo bihon noodles (thin rice noodles) soaked in water
- 1 Cup Oil for frying
- 1 1/2 cups leftover adobo thinly sluced
- calamansi to serve
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large saucepan or wok over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add Baguio beans, sitsaro, and carrots. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside a portion of the vegetable mixture for topping.
- Pour soy sauce, adobo sauce, and water into the pan. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add drained pancit bihon and cook until sauce has been absorbed by the noodles.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in another pan. Fry sliced leftover adobo until crispy. Set aside.
- Transfer pancit bihon to serving plates. Top with the vegetable mixture and crispy adobo. Serve with calamansi on the side.
