Ingredients
Pasta Arrabiata with Mixed Sausages
- 400 Grams fusilli pasta uncooked
- 150 Grams italian sausage
- 150 Grams Hungarian sausages
- 50 Grams Bratwurst sausage
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 Cup sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 5 cups red sauce
- Salt to taste
- parmesan cheese
- fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Cook fusilli or pasta of choice according to package instructions.
- Meanwhile, slice sausages in a crosswise slant. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and fry sundried tomatoes and sausages lightly. Add tomato sauce and allow to simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until sauce slightly thickens. Season with salt and pepper according to taste.
- Pour sausage sauce over drained pasta. Top with Parmesan cheese and chopped herbs.
