Ingredients
  

Pasta with Peas and Pesto Ingredients

  • 250 Grams Short Pasta
  • 3/4 to 1 Cup frozen peas
  • 1 190-gram bottle pesto sauce
  • Parmesan Cheese to serve

Instructions
 

  • Cook peas and pasta as per package directions.
  • Toss peas, pasta, and pesto together. Don’t add the pesto all at once. Put in half the bottle, gradually increasing until you get the mix you like. Same with the peas, start with 3/4 cup and if you think it needs more, increase to 1 cup.
  • Serve topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Pesto tip: You don’t have to buy the imported pesto you see on grocery shelves. A number of local pestos are available at the Salcedo and Legaspi weekend markets in Makati City, most sold by the same people who made and bottled them. This means you are getting a fresher product at a lower cost.
