Ingredients
  

Peanut Butter and Jelly French Toast with Apples

  • 4 sliced whole-wheat bread
  • 1/2 Cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 apple thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons grape jelly
  • 2 Egg
  • 1/2 Cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons Butter

Instructions
 

  • Spread peanut butter on two slices of bread then top with apple slices. Then spread jelly on the other two slices of bread. Combine the two slices to form a sandwich.
  • In a mixing bowl, lightly beat eggs and heavy cream together. Set aside.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.
  • Prepare sandwiches for toasting: Dip sandwich in the egg mixture, coating well. Then place it in skillet and brown both sides. Repeat for all sandwiches. Serve immediately.
