Ingredients
  

Picadillo Cubano Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup olive oil
  • 1/2 Cup onion minced
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic minced
  • 400 Grams Beef use ground round
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt
  • 1 Cup bell pepper minced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/4 Cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
  • Add ground round, cumin, and oregano. Cook until browned. Season with salt.
  • Add bell peppers and tomato paste. Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add wine and reduce until almost dry. Taste and adjust seasoning, if needed.
  • Remove from heat and mix in Worcestershire sauce.
