Ingredients
  

Pininyahang Manok Ingredients (Chicken in Pineapple Sauce)

  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 2 tablespoons ginger minced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 piece onion sliced
  • 500 Grams Chicken use chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce (patis)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 small can Canned Pineapple Chunks
  • Salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Saute ginger, garlic, and onion in oil. Add chicken and patis, then saute for 10 minutes or until the chicken turns slightly brown.
  • Add the tomato sauce and season with salt and pepper. Bring to boil then let simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Add the can of pineapple chunks along with the syrup. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with steamed rice.
