Pork and Potato Stew Ingredients
- 500 Grams pork (kasim) cut into 1-inch cubes
- Salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons white onions chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 Cup potato cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 Cup water
- Salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season pork cubes with salt, pepper, and rosemary; add flour and mix to coat meat. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil and butter in pan over medium heat, then sear pork lightly on all sides. Remove pork cubes from the pan and set aside.
- Sauté the onions, garlic, and bay leaf in the same pan. Add the flour and continue to sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add the potatoes and water then bring to a boil, mix well. Lower the heat, and simmer for 8 minutes. Add the pork and continue to simmer for 5-6 minutes or until both pork and potatoes are cooked through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
