Pork and Potato Stew Ingredients

  • 500 Grams pork (kasim) cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons white onions chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 Cup potato cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 Cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Season pork cubes with salt, pepper, and rosemary; add flour and mix to coat meat. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in pan over medium heat, then sear pork lightly on all sides. Remove pork cubes from the pan and set aside.
  • Sauté the onions, garlic, and bay leaf in the same pan. Add the flour and continue to sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add the potatoes and water then bring to a boil, mix well. Lower the heat, and simmer for 8 minutes. Add the pork and continue to simmer for 5-6 minutes or until both pork and potatoes are cooked through. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
