A simple dish that's big on flavor!
Simmering is the key to a rich and flavorful dish. This recipe is pretty simple and puts together supermarket ingredients such as beans and ground pork to make a dish that's big on flavor.
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 kilo pork, use ground pork
1/2 cup water
2 bundles baguio beans (abitsuelas), tips and strings snapped off, chopped
1 table spoon fish sauce (patis)
black pepper, to taste
1 cup coconut cream (kakang gata)
2 pieces siling labuyo (bird's eye chili), chopped
In a saucepan, sauté garlic in oil. Add ground pork. Add water. Simmer until almost all the water has evaporated, 10-15 minutes.
Add Baguio beans, fish sauce, ground black pepper, coconut milk, and siling labuyo. Simmer again.
Serve immediately with white rice.
