Pork Chops with Mushroom Alfredo Sauce Ingredients
- 6 pork chops boneless
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1 clove Garlic peeled, chopped
- 1 pack (150 grams) white button mushrooms sliced
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme more to garnish
- 1/2 Cup All-purpose cream
- 1/2 Cup water
- 1/2 Cup Cream cheese spread
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- Oil for pan frying
- steamed rice to serve
Instructions
- Heat enough oil in a frying pan for pan frying. Season pork chops on both sides with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Pan fry pork chops until golden brown on both sides and cooked through. Drain on a rack over paper towels. Keep warm.
- Melt butter in another pan over medium heat. Add garlic then mushrooms, cooking until both are softened. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in thyme.
- Pour in cream and water, and heat. Once hot, add and stir in cheese spread until combined. Taste and adjust accordingly with salt and ground black pepper.
