Ingredients
  

Pork Estofado Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 5 tablespoons Garlic minced
  • 1 kilo pork sliced
  • 1 Cup Tomato sauce
  • 3/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 Cup water
  • 3 pieces dried bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon peppercorns
  • 1 1/2 Cup carrot sliced
  • 1 Cup Potatoes sliced into half-inch thick pieces
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Saute garlic in a pan with oil.
  • Add the pork and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add the tomato sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, water, bay leaves and whole peppercorns. Reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes or until pork is tender.
  • Add the carrots and potatoes, cook for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Season with salt and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
