Ingredients
  

Pork Picadillo Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 Small yellow onion minced (about 1/8 cup)
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 kilogram ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup carrots diced
  • 1/3 Cup Potatoes diced
  • 1 1/2 cups Tomato sauce
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 10 pieces quail eggs cooked and shelled
  • Salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat sauté pan over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent then add the garlic. Cook until fragrant. Add the pork and pour the soy sauce. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until the pork turns slightly brown.
  • Pour in tomato sauce and water, let simmer for another 5 to 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add the quail eggs in last then cook for another 2 minutes. Serve while warm.
