Ingredients
  

Pork Steaks with Tomato-Pineapple Salsa Ingredients

  • 5 pieces tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 can pineapple finely chopped, syrup reserved
  • 1 Table Spoon onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 Table Spoon fresh parsley roughly chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Oil for pan frying
  • 4 pieces pork use pork steaks
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • rice steamed

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix tomatoes, pineapple chunks, 1 tablespoon pineapple syrup, onion, garlic, vinegar, and a pinch each of salt and ground black pepper or to taste. Stir in olive oil and parsley, and chill until ready to serve.
  • In a nonstick frying pan over medium heat, heat oil for pan frying. Season pork steaks with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Sear pork steaks and then cook both sides until done. Serve hot topped with salsa and with steamed rice.
