Try something new by using apples in a savory dish.
1/2 kilo pork, (use pork tenderloin), cut into 1-inch thick slices
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 table spoon oil
1 table spoon garlic, minced
1/2 cup green onion, sliced
1 piece fuji apple, cored and cut into wedges
1 piece pork bouillon cube, dissolved in water
1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
3/4 cup water
Flatten pork slices with a meat mallet until 1?2-inch thick. In a small bowl, mix thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle mixture on both sides of pork slices.
In a baking pan lined with aluminum foil, broil pork for 5 minutes on each side. Set aside.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and green onions for a couple of minutes. Add apple wedges. Add pork bouillon solution. Cook for 2 minutes.
In a bowl, mix cornstarch with water and whisk. Pour onto apple mixture and bring to a boil. Stir. Cook until thickened. Add pork and cook for a few more minutes or until pork is tender.
