Prawns in Orange Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 kilo Prawns (Sugpo) back slit and deveined
  • navel orange
  • Pepper to taste
  • parsley sprigs (chopped), for garnish


  • Heat butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté garlic until golden.
  • Add prawns. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are almost cooked.
  • Add orange zest and juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir to coat prawns with sauce. Add more butter, if desired. Simmer for about 2 to 3 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
