Juicy, fork-tender ribs!
Here's a new pork rib recipe to try! Give this dish enough time to cook low and slow in the oven-you'll be rewarded with juicy, fork-tender ribs.
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon five-spice powder
2 tablespoons brandy
1 kilo pork, use American baby back pork ribs
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup tomato ketchup
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon mustard
salt, to taste
Preheat oven to 250°F.
Combine all ingredients, except pork, in a small bowl.
Pat pork ribs dry and spread mixture all over.
Wrap ribs with foil, wrap in plastic wrap, then wrap again in layer of foil.
Cook in the preheated oven for 3 hours or until fork-tender.
Make the barbecue sauce: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until sauce thickens.
Brush barbecue sauce on ribs before serving. Serve extra sauce on the side.
