  • 1 tablespoon grenadine syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon maraschino cherry syrup
  • 1 cans root beer
  • scoop vanilla ice cream
  • chocolate syrup to serve


  • Combine grenadine syrup and maraschino cherry syrup in a tall glass.
  • Add 1 ice-cold (330-ml) can root beer. Immediately add a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and garnish with maraschino cherries. Serve immediately.
