Ingredients
  

Fresh Seafood in Aligue Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup olive oil
  • 1 medium Garlic minced
  • 1 Cup crab fat (aligue) bottled or homemade
  • 1 teaspoon calamansi
  • 2 pieces blue crab (alimasag)
  • 6 pieces scallops shell-on
  • 6 pieces Tiger Prawns (Sugpo) fresh, not frozen
  • 3 to 6 sprigs cilantro (wansoy)
  • tilapia Optional

Instructions
 

  • Heat up oil in a large pan, then add the garlic. Cook the garlic just until tender.
  • Add aligue ng talangka until it softens and loosens up. The pure ones are usually very thick. Add some more olive oil if needed, about 1 tablespoon at a time.
  • Add the sliced green chili or siling haba, reserve a few pieces for garnish.
  • Add all the fresh seafood and allow to steam in the aligue for about 8-10 minutes or until they all turn bright orange.
  • Transfer to a serving plate with all the juices and the sauce. Drizzle with freshly squeezed calamansi, and sprinkle with sliced siling haba and sprigs of cilantro. [ArticleReco:{"articles":["10453","9991"]}]
