Sesame Chicken Recipe

Combine Chinese soy sauce, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons sesame oil in a bowl. Add chicken and mix well. Marinate for 10 minutes. Mix in cornstarch; set aside.

Heat vegetable oil in pan over medium-high heat. Sauté onions, garlic, and ginger until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add chicken and sauté for 3 minutes. Add remaining sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar; allow to boil for 1 minute.

Add chicken stock. Bring to a boil then lower heat to simmer until desired consistency is achieved, about 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Drizzle with remaining sesame oil, and garnish with leeks and sesame seeds before serving.
