Sinaing na Tulingan Recipe

Clean the tulingan well and remove the gills and innards. (Make sure all the blood has come out.) 

Make a slice along the body of the fish, making one horizontal line. Rub rock salt all over the fish and inside the fish. Wrap each head of the fish with banana leaves.

Place the fish in the pot and cover the fish with water. Add the kamias, bring to a boil, then let it simmer for 4 to 5 hours, covered. Add water as needed until super tender.
