Taco Salad in a Jar Recipe

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Sauté onion then garlic until both are softened. Add ground chicken, breaking up any large chunks. Let brown before stirring, again breaking up chunks, so chicken cooks evenly.

Sprinkle chili powder, oregano, and taco seasoning over chicken, stirring to mix. Taste, and season, if needed, with salt and ground black pepper. Remove from heat, and set aside.

Layer the ingredients into a large jar. Repeat with remaining ingredients in another jar. Each jar serves 2.
