Tuna and Corn Hushpuppies Ingredients
- 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tablespoons Butter melted
- 3/4 Cup milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1 can (250-gram) canned whole corn kernels drained
- 1 can (420-gram) canned tuna in oil drained
- Oil for shallow frying
- Salt to season
Instructions
- Place flour, baking powder, egg, butter, milk, cumin, and paprika in a bowl. mix until well incorporated. Â Â
- Â Fold in corn and tuna. Mix until well incorporated. Â Â
- Â Using wet hands, form corn-tuna mixture into small balls. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Remove from heat and drain excess oil on paper towels. Season to taste. Serve hot. Â Â
