Whiting, or locally known as asuhos, is a small fish that you can get from Japanese stores completely filleted. It's also available from fishmongers in the palengke and supermarket although you may have to ask to have it cleaned and filleted. We coat these delicious little fish in a tempura batter, the perfect way to enjoy the delicate flavor of these fish.
