Pia Wurtzbach Has A NEW Virtual Restaurant With All Her Favorite Food

The Japan menu is only available until June!

The concept of ordering food online is nothing new, but when the pandemic hit, online delivery became the de-facto replacement for eating out. While most restaurants usually start off with a brick-and-mortar venue, Pia’s Kitchen is unique in that it is one of the few that was conceived as a purely delivery-only restaurant.

Pia’s Kitchen is the brainchild of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Cloudeats, a cloud kitchen company that specializes in creating online or virtual restaurants. This means that if you want to try out Pia’s Kitchen, you don’t need to look further than your phone!

Aside from its delivery-only model, another thing that makes Pia’s Kitchen unique is that it features a “traveling” menu. Inspired by Pia’s love of food and travel, Pia’s Kitchen will change its menu every three months, featuring cuisines inspired by a different country or region every time.

For the first stop, Pia’s Kitchen is featuring “The Land of the Rising Sun”, Japan!

Some of our favorites include the Beef Gyudon (P199), which is a filling rice bowl (donburi in Japanese) topped with thinly sliced beef, onions with dashi broth, and a poached egg.

If you want to try one of Pia’s personal favorites, you can go for the Chicken Katsu Curry (P159), which includes a crunchy yet juicy breaded chicken thigh fillet and pickled red onions, jicama, and carrots. The Japanese curry sauce will be delivered in a separate container, which is a thoughtful touch to prevent the katsu from getting soggy during delivery.

Other must-try dishes include the SPAM Sando (P229), which is a toasted SPAM and scrambled egg sandwich with umami sauce, and the Salmon Teriyaki Salad (P289), which is a flavorful mix of greens, quinoa, cucumber, mango, and red onion topped with seared teriyaki-glazed salmon and served with Asian salad dressing, on the side of course.

They also offer desserts, like their Portuguese Egg Tarts (P99 for 2 pieces) which have a dreamy and creamy custard filling.

Make sure to try the Japanese menu before Pia’s Kitchen goes to its next destination! After Japan, Pia’s Kitchen is set to feature cuisines inspired by Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and America next!

Until then, Pia’s Kitchen is on its Japan leg until June exclusively on GrabFood.
