Chinese-Style Pork Asado Ingredients
- 1 kilo pork tenderloin
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 2 pieces star anise
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons Chinese cooking wine
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 Cup water
- 1 1-inch ginger
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a pot. Let it simmer for 20 minutes then adjust seasoning by adding salt and pepper.
- Check the pork if tender then slice into pieces before serving. Pour the sauce over the slices of pork.
