Love pork asado? Five spice powder and star anise give this pork dish lots of flavor.

This is one of the easiest pork dishes you can make! It’s a familiar recipe but has wonderful ingredient additions that don’t make it any harder to make.

How do you make a Chinese-style asado recipe?

There are key ingredients in this recipe that make it Chinese: five-spice powder and star anise are just two ingredients that make it taste different from other asado recipes. The best part is that you don’t have to do much else other than add these and a few other Chinese ingredients into the pot with the pork. Just simmer all the ingredients over medium heat and let it absorb all the delicious, sweet, and savory flavors.
