Ingredients
  

Bacon and Bread Roast Chicken Stuffing Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 3/4 Cup bacon chopped
  • 1/2 Cup white onion chopped
  • 4 cups white bread day-old, crusts removed, cubed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 2/3 Cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter in a sauté pan. Add chopped bacon; fry until lightly browned. Add white onions; sauté until translucent. Toss in celery; sauté until tender. Add day-old white bread. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add milk; mix well.
  • Cool completely then stuff into cavity. Truss and roast chicken. Place extra stuffing on a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake separately.
