When you think of Japan, the cherry blossom season is usually top of mind. Starbucks Philippines just released Sakura-inspired beverages and merchandise that you’ll easily fall in love with.
Starbucks just released four new drinks inspired by these pink-hued petals! There’s a Pink Peach Blossoms Cream Frappuccino (P175/tall; P190/grande; P205/venti) that uses peach jelly infusion in the creamy base, and topped with a pink flower meringue. The Chocolate Black Tea Peach Blossom Cream (P175/tall; P190/grande; P205/venti), on the other hand, is made with a blend of black tea, creamy chocolate, and tart pink peach sauce.
For those who want a drink with a strong coffee base, Starbucks also released two new drinks under the Smooth Brr-ews line. There’s the Yuzu Cold Brew (P170/tall; P185/grande; P200/venti) that’s made with Starbucks’ classic cold brew, but it is infused with yuzu, a citrus fruit popular in Japan. The other drink is the Coconut Milk Cold Brew (P170/tall; P185/grande; P200/venti), which also uses Starbucks’ cold brew as its base, but with the addition of a sweet and creamy coconut milk.
If there are new beverages, of course, there’s also new tumblers that come with it. This cherry blossom-inspired merchandise has pastel pink hues and features the dreamy landscapes surrounded by cherry blossoms. There’s also a Spring Sakura Paper Card (P1,000 for initial activation) that has a detailed design of the Sakura flower.
