Soy-Calamansi Tuna Belly Ingredients

  • 500 Grams tuna belly
  • 4 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Calamansi Juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 pieces red tomatoes chopped
  • green onions sliced
  • lemon slices for garnish (optional)


  • Marinate tuna belly in soy sauce and calamansi juice for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper on both sides. 
  • In a hot pan or grill place the tuna belly skin side down and cook for 5 minutes. 
  • Flip the tuna belly on the other side and cook for another 5 minutes. Make sure not to over cook the tuna belly. 
  • Serve with chopped tomatoes and green onions. Garnish with lemon slices on the side (optional).
