Whether you go to the supermarket or the convenience store, there’s almost always green glass bottles of soju available. While we love the classic flavors such as the original, grape, grapefruit, peach, plum, blueberry, and strawberry, there’s one flavor you might not have seen yet. Meet Chum Churum’s Yogurt Soju (P120).

Chum Churum’s Yogurt Soju
Chum Churum’s Yogurt Soju is an inspiration from the popular Soju Yogurt cocktail (also called Soju Yakult) that mixes soju with a yogurt drink. What’s different about this Yogurt Soju is that you won’t need to buy the two items separately as the flavors are already combined in one bottle.
We tried it for ourselves and found that while Chum Churum’s Yogurt Soju doesn’t exactly have the same amount of sweetness when soju combined with Yakult, this flavor does have a sweet, milky taste without overpowering soju. The milkiness of this drink is similar to the flavor profile of Horoyoi’s White Sour fruit beer and Lotte’s Milkis.
This Soju Yogurt flavor is good on its own, especially if it’s served chilled, but there’s still that versatility to it that allows you to play around with this flavor. You can still add Yakult or your preferred yogurt drink (if you feel like it’s lacking), you can use still combine it with beer, or use it to make a Melona-ju cocktail, which is made with soju, Melona, and Sprite or Chilsung cider.
You can find Chum Churum’s Soju Yogurt flavor at ASSI Fresh Plaza for P115 and each bottle has a 12% ABV.
